Subscription payments can fail for various reasons, such as an insufficient card limit or technical issues. Below is a guide on how to resolve such issues and document missed payments.
1. Adjusting the Card Limit
If a subscription payment fails due to an insufficient card limit, you can take the following steps:
Increase the limit on the linked card to ensure that future charges can be processed successfully.
If you do not have authorization for the card program, contact an administrator or your supervisor.
2. Request Was Created in Error
If a subscription has created a request for you and the request is incorrect,
Delete the affected requests
To do so, click on the request and select the three dots in the upper right corner
Select “Delete” and confirm.
Please note that we recommend archiving requests instead of deleting them!
3. Additional tips for managing subscriptions
Regularly review payment methods and limits to ensure that no payments are missed.
Use the comment feature to keep a clear overview of all changes made to the application itself.
Pause subscriptions that are no longer in use to simplify your overview.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your subscription payments run smoothly and all processes are properly documented and your dashboard is always up to date.
