The system evaluates amounts, semantic similarities in line-item descriptions, and optional material codes. Based on these factors, it calculates a confidence score that only creates a valid match when a high level of accuracy is reached.

This significantly reduces manual review efforts and ensures that invoices are assigned precisely and transparently to the correct PO line items.

finway now recognizes when a finway card purchase is linked to an existing purchase order. When such a transaction is recorded, the system automatically creates the corresponding invoice request as usual. What’s new is that this auto-generated request is now intelligently enriched with all relevant PO data.

This includes line-item details, amounts, pre-accounting information, and the supplier. As a result, every card purchase that relates to a PO becomes fully connected to it. Without any manual input required. The entire process becomes more consistent, faster, and far more transparent.
